You Don't Need Fixing!

I hope this post inspires someone. Often times we have people in our life (be it family or friends) who make it their mission to "fix you". Always in your ear telling you to dress like this or fix your hair like that. They have a critical comment about almost every aspect of your life. The kicker is they genuinely think they're doing you a service. Many of us tolerate it so as not to be rude or may even believe that we need "fixing". Here's my insight on the matter.

STOP! You Don’t Need Fixing.
IGNORE their judgmental stares and critical lips.
You Don’t Need Fixing.
It’s YOUR life, YOUR body, YOUR hair.  Wear it as YOU please.
They don’t need fixing.
You don’t need material things to prove your worth.
Don't try to fit in. Instead STAND OUT!
Be Happy Being The Way You Are.
Of course they believe they’re helping.
They think you need improvement.
Wear this, buy that, let me see you this way…
But...
YOU DON'T NEED FIXING

  1. I understand what you mean love, but what if the fixer is a husband? He wants to fix my hair!

  2. Hi Nerline! Sounds like your man needs to be educated about your hair and why you choose to wear it the way you do. Let him know that your hair doesn't change who you are. Check out this video from Steve Harvey about husbands and our hair -->https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n06Sl_L5IEU#t=288
